What's with the Bread?
*|MC:SUBJECT|**|MC_PREVIEW_TEXT|*
Friend, you may have noticed
that whether it’s at a townhall, a cottage
meeting, or at the recent state convention,
if you come say hello, you’re bound to walk
away with a thick slice of my mother’s fresh
homemade wheat bread.
Since caucus night, my whole team (Mom
included!) has pitched in to help bake over
2,000 loaves of bread. And that’s no
small task! We only serve it fresh, which
means that from grains of whole wheat, to
grinder, to mixer, to oven – we do it all
within 24 hours of serving it to you!
I know you’re wondering, “What’s with the
bread?” So I’ll tell you.
First, our scrappy campaign doesn’t have
deep enough pockets to wine and dine voters,
so we decided to share something that’s less
expensive but hopefully more meaningful.
Besides,
wining and dining doesn’t match my idea
of a truly functional election
process.
But more importantly,
homemade bread is one of the reasons I’m
running for Congress. When I was a kid, this recipe helped
provide for our family of thirteen.
The conservative values in these loaves of
bread are exactly what Washington needs
right now.
I’m excited to share my homemade bread and
homemade values with voters like you ahead
of the June 28 primary!
Help us share our message with even more
CD4 voters.
